Extreme Intensity Line Lights For Illumination For High Performance Line-scan Imaging

Drew Lear Technology’s new DLX Line Lights have been designed to deliver the new performance levels required in even the most challenging imaging applications. Whether it be high camera line rates, dark targets or difficult environmental conditions the lights can deliver some of the brightest illumination available consistently 24/7 if required.

With intensity levels exceeding 5 Megalux, DLX Line Lights are amongst the brightest available, perfect for even the highest resolution and fastest line scan applications where precise detail capture is critical.

The built in “I-Smart” control allows operation without any external controllers and access to remotely set and check many parameters via the “comms” interface.

The precision-engineered liquid cooling ensures high reliability and fast “warm-up” to ultra stable output even when operating at the highest intensity levels. It also allows a slim profile which together with working distance options and lengths up to 5.1m ensure that it will meet even the toughest solutions.

The DLX X4 model allow for multiple wavelengths to be used and can be controlled independently to allow flexible image acquisition strategies e.g. Image interlacing.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀

𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Checking the quality of printed materials by detecting defects, print registration, and security features.

𝗪𝗲𝗯 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀: Looking for features and defects. Typical applications paper, plastic films, carpet, fabric and textiles, metal, glass etc.

𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝘆𝗰𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗹: Multispectral imaging aids in the automated sorting of recyclable materials like plastics, metals, and paper.

𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴: Identifying and sorting different types of food products based on size, shape, colour, density and quality.

𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝘀: Tablets, capsules, and other medications are checked for correct dosage, shape, presence/absence and any imperfections.
Industrial Automation: Used in various manufacturing stages to inspect parts, assemblies, and products for quality control.
